Cyanotype
In 2024, I gave myself the unique challenge of creating a cyanotype animation completely from scratch as a final piece for my high school photography course.
As far as I know, I was the first person to ever create a minute long cyanotype animation/film at 25 frames per second with around 1000 unique frames (I believe others have been made at slower frame rates). The project took a while to fully realise but it's something I'd happily do again, now that I've gained the knowledge and experience necessary to improve my techniques.
Since this project, I've been eager to explore the usage of mixed media and delve into a variety of photographic mediums.
Two films I made in 2023, prior to attending film school.
These two shorts were initially created as part of my photography coursework in high school, hence why they share footage. I won't get into them too much as I've developed my skills beyond what they represent.
I just like looking back every now and then!
